You can install the emblem letter/number by or whole at once. When ready to apply the emblem remove white backing paper from back of new emblem, be careful not touch adhesive part. This can be done by applying some adhesive/glue remover to a microfiber towel and cleaning the surface. Recommended spacing between each symbol is 2mm.

Keep the hair dryer/heat gun about 3 inches away from emblem and heat entire evenly. Once all the adhesive is removed use some rubbing alcohol to clean paint surface from any grease or dirt, this will allow tape on new badge stick correctly, a MUST DO STEP. Periodically check how hot the paint is getting, you do not want to overheat. The heat will soften the glue making it easier to remove.
